Rebecca began her career in public accounting in 1992, working first with a CPA firm in Indianapolis and later in Chicago. After seven years in public accounting, she transitioned her expertise into financial planning and investment management. In 1999, she joined Whitinger & Company, CPAs, where she started and led the financial planning division, Whitinger Financial Advisors, LLC.
In 2004, following an out-of-state move, Rebecca founded her own wealth management practice, serving an elite client base across the U.S. as an experienced wealth manager and investment advisor representative of LPL Financial. After returning to Indiana, she partnered with Bob Dunlap in 2013 to establish Dunlap Gill Wealth Management Group, Inc.
Rebecca specializes in helping clients invest wisely, minimize income and estate taxes, and coordinate all aspects of their financial lives. As life, laws, and markets change, she provides ongoing, personalized guidance to help clients pursue their goals with confidence.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Marketing from Ball State University and holds credentials as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Personal Financial Specialist (PFS). She also maintains Series 7, 63, and 65 securities registrations with LPL Financial.
Throughout her career, Rebecca has led numerous client seminars and appreciation events and remains actively involved in the professional community. She is a member of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA), Indiana CPA Society, and Florida Institute of CPAs. She has served as a speaker for the Indiana CPA Society, was president-elect of the South Dade chapter of the Florida CPA Society, past president of the Exchange Club of Muncie, and is an active member of the Rotary Club of Anna Maria Island, where she currently serves on the board.
Rebecca and her husband, Michael, live in Florida. They enjoy an active boating lifestyle, including snorkeling, scuba diving, and exploring local beaches.
